Friends of the Cross Society

Providing greater access to affordable health care.

Who we are

We are a community of Christians who seek to provide greater access to affordable health care.

Community Prayer

Saint Louis de Montfort was a Roman Catholic priest who died in the early 1700's.  During his ministry he served at the poor-house of Poitiers, preached at numerous parish renewals, and founded three congregations.  He also wrote a number of books, letters, and hymns.  We owe the name of our Society to one of his letters, the Letters to the Friends of the Cross.

Inspired by the spirituality of Saint Louis de Montfort we meet to pray for one another's needs and to help carry each other's crosses.  We meet to recite the Rosary and walk the Way of the Cross.  Please follow us on Facebook to learn more about upcoming events.

Community Involvement

There are many who still struggle to find affordable health care despite the passage of the Affordable Care Act and the recent attempts to improve it.  We are committed to providing; affordable alternatives to the high cost of insurance premiums; affordable means to lower the out of pocket expenses such as co-pays and deductibles, supplemental benefits to help protect the financial health of your family.

We realize that this can not be a "one size fits all" solution, and we can not help every one, although we would love to be able to.  Since we realize that this approach may still not be affordable to some, we will be working to support free and charitable health care clinics for those that simply can not afford the cost of health care.

This is a community effort and we will rely on your generous assistance to help meet this need.
